B. Stearns 1923", Arabic numeral, outer red five minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial with hours 13- 24 added inside the outer chapter, blued steel spade hands, serial #840628, c1910.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor dings; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Pendant with minor brassing where it joins the case; Plastic crystal with fine scratches. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, 12:00, 1:00, 6:30, 8:00; Spider hairlines, light, 4:00, 6:00, 10:00; Tiny flake at center. HANDS: Minor oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Numerous fine scratches on plate; Minor spotting; Fine scratches on ratchet wheel; A few spots of oxide on ratchet wheel; A few specks of oxide and fine scratches on crown wheel core; Regulator assembly with a few specks of oxide; Balance cock a bit darker than bridges. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
